2013 Events

Our 2013 Autumnal Gathering Of Friends Gala and Fundraiser was a great success!  Our Foundation has been blessed with many good friends who share our commitment to helping young men and women in The Bronx complete their Catholic high school education. The help we are able to provide these students in the name of our friend, Bill Clark, is due to the generosity of these friends and for that we are very grateful.

On Sunday, October 27th, 2013 we gathered at The Rambling House on Katonah Avenue in The Bronx to raise much needed funds, and to honor Emily Padilla and Dr. Patrick McGuire. They are the outgoing and incoming Principals of Msgr. Scanlan High School, respectively. Both have had long careers in education, and we were happy to honor them for their commitment to Catholic education. With the much-needed funds raised at the Gala, we will be able to help a promising young student from that school complete his or her education in these challenging economic times.

Thank you to all who came out and supported the Foundation at the Gala, and thank you to those who donated funds. Please see some photos of the event below.

On Sunday, January 6th, 2013, we met and welcomed Alvin Roman from All Hallows High School as our newest Fellowship recipient at the Wicked Wolf in The Bronx.
It was a pleasure meeting Alvin and his mom, Migdalia. Alvin is a fine young man who works very hard in school, earning a place in The National Honor Society. His proud mom is looking forward to his graduation from All Hallows in June, as well as his choice of college, where he would like to study Psychology. His dedication to his studies, as well as his family, will guide him to a very bright future.
Congratulations Alvin!

The Foundation was fortunate in that it was able to provide a Christmas party for
the students at Saints Philip and James Elementary School in The Bronx. By all
accounts the children and teachers had a wonderful time. Our thanks to Catherine
Lavelle, the principal of the school, for providing our Foundation the opportunity to
spread some Christmas cheer!
